Fine Art bronzes by Sculptor
Leanne Amelia Hall
"Great Sculpture is
like a poem,
simplifying form and
finding essence to
make an exciting
statement"
Each bronze sculpted by Leanne begins as an idea or feeling which is then
translated into the material world by, first, creating an armature out of wire.
The next step is to build up form using oil-based clay.  Detail is then
carefully carved into each piece.  Once the clay stage of each sculpture is
complete, the mold making and casting process begin.  The Cire Perdue or
"lost wax" process is thousands of years old. For more information on this
fascinating process you can go to this link:

Once each piece is cast, Leanne chooses a patina unique to each
sculpture.  This patina is then applied by a master patineur to  exacting
standards.  The next step is to choose a base for the sculpture.  Leanne
prefers solid stone for its beauty and durability.  The final step is to create a
nameplate for the piece out of etched copper.

All of the sculpture on this site is of the highest quality, both in materials
used and the artist's efforts to create artwork of enduring beauty.
