This bronze series is a tribute to the
beautiful Andalusian horse.I was
inspired to create it after a visit to a
horseshow featuring the "Pura
Raza Espanola" (Pure Spanish
Horse) in Santa Barbara, California.
The Andalusian's dramatic beauty,
long flowing mane and tail, and
amazing athleticism captured my
imagination. The Andalusian
horse, a Baroque breed, has been
bred for centuries on the Iberian
Peninsula ( Spain and Portugal) It
was known as The Horse of Kings,
The Iberian War Horse, The Great
Colonizer, and The Royal Horse of
Europe.
